AI for quality control

AI is finding its way into more and more areas of our everyday lives and is trying to make our lives easier and more productive. But this also applies to the world of business. Our sister company Wamtechnik took part in the KITT4SME project together with the Warsaw University of Technology and the company eraneos, which supplied the technology. This project tested the extent to which AI can help to control the quality of welded joints in the production process of battery packs. This is crucial for product quality. Each battery pack has hundreds of welding points and if just one is not perfect, this can lead to significant problems and even product failure.

The project has now been successfully completed and the research results and technology have been successfully implemented in Wamtechnik's production. We are very pleased that Wamtechnik has been able to contribute to research through its innovative spirit and that it is constantly improving and can therefore offer our customers the best possible products. Wamtechnik has been one of Europe's leading manufacturers of battery packs for over 30 years and projects like this guarantee that this will remain the case in the future.
