How long will it take to dispatch my order?

Shipping usually takes 2 – 3 working days. Our standard range is available from stock. Depending on the time of order, your ordered goods will be ready for dispatch on the same day (the next working day at the latest) and will then be handed over to our renowned logistics partners.

Can goods be dispatched neutrally?

Yes, we can send a neutral delivery note without reference to Battery-Kutter or you can send us your own delivery note with the order, which we can enclose with the consignment.

Can my goods also be delivered or invoiced to a different address?

Yes, both are possible. Your goods can be delivered and invoiced to a different address. We are also happy to dispatch your goods with a neutral delivery note, i.e. without reference to Battery-Kutter.

How high are the freight costs?

The freight costs, including packaging, depend on size and weight. You can find detailed dispatch information on our shipping information-page.

Are there minimum order quantities?

No, there is no minimum order quantity with us. You can order any quantity you want from us.

Which shipping service providers are used?

We work with the shipping service providers DB Schenker and DPD. Within Hamburg we work with the shipping service provider Lasurit - on request we can also send your goods by city carrier.

Questions about SUN Battery and SSB Battery

Are SUN Battery and SSB Battery batteries CE certified?

Yes, all SUN Battery and SSB Battery batteries have been CE certified since 18/08/2024.

What is the difference between SUN Battery and SSB Battery batteries?

Both brands are AGM batteries. The majority of our SUN Battery batteries are VdS approved batteries. These batteries are mainly used in the security market. In contrast, the SSB Battery range includes series for short discharge times in high-current applications in the UPS sector and for applications with long autonomy times in the emergency and safety lighting sector.

Are SUN Battery and SSB Battery batteries dangerous goods?

No, lead batteries do not belong to any dangerous goods class.

Where is the date code and how is the date code read for Sun Battery and SSB Battery?

You will find the date code at the top of the battery, for example it looks like this: 240615 (year/month/day). The production date would therefore be 15/06/2024.

Questions for complaints

How long is the warranty?

The warranty is based on the regulations prescribed by law. The statutory warranty period of 2 years begins upon delivery of the product.

What can I do if my delivery has arrived damaged?

What do I do if I have received the wrong product?

Contact our sales team and we will ensure that you receive the correct product as quickly as possible.

What guarantees are offered?

As a distributor, we do not offer any guarantees. As a customer, you receive the statutory warranty period of 2 years from us. 

What is the procedure for complaints?

If you have a complaint, please get in touch with our After Sales department or your direct contact in the Sales team. To simplify the process, please send us an e-mail with the following content to: msader@battery-kutter.de

General questions

Is it possible to receive the documents relating to the order during the ordering process?

This is possible at any time if you wish.

Does Battery-Kutter offer an acid refill service?

Battery-Kutter does not offer a top-up service. Check the acid level of your battery regularly and correct it with distilled water only if necessary. If you have an AGM battery, it is not necessary to check and correct the acid level, as these are sealed and absolutely maintenance-free. 

Is it possible to order from Battery-Kutter as a private customer?

No. As Battery-Kutter, we only deliver to commercial customers. However, you are welcome to contact our dealers, such as the company ProAkkus.

Can ordered goods be collected?

Yes, you are welcome to collect your order from us in person. This is possible at the following times: Monday-Thursday between 9:00 am – 4:30 pm / Friday: 9:00 am – 1:30 pm

Can I return goods if I no longer need them or have ordered them incorrectly?

In such cases, we generally do not take the goods back. Individual cases can be checked by the After Sales department.

When are VdS batteries mandatory?

VdS certification is not mandatory for the use of batteries and rechargeable batteries. Batteries and rechargeable batteries with a VdS certificate meet the highest testing standards and offer optimum safety.

Why do the prices for lead-acid batteries fluctuate?

The prices for lead batteries are subject to strong fluctuations. These fluctuations are only natural, as the purchase price of the products depends on the US dollar exchange rate and the global market price for lead.

What does ‘available soon’ mean in the webshop?

If you are interested in products from our webshop that are labelled ‘available soon’, please contact our sales team and let them inform you about the exact delivery times of the products.

What can I do if I cannot find a particular battery in the webshop?

In certain cases, certain articles are not visible in the webshop. In this case, please contact our sales team, who will help you immediately, Tel: 040 611631-66.

Who is authorised to purchase from Battery-Kutter?

Only commercial customers (B2B) can buy from Battery-Kutter. Unfortunately, we cannot supply private individuals (B2C).

How can I dispose of lead batteries properly?

We will be happy to dispose of batteries and rechargeable batteries that you have purchased from Battery-Kutter for you. We can also collect these from you if required. Please complete our collection form. You can find all the information you need on our recycling information page.
