The Slovakian company Telegrafia, world market leader in the field of warning and notification devices, has also opted for batteries from SUN Battery and SSB Battery due to many advantages over other brands.

Telegrafia integrates our batteries into its electronic sirens to ensure that the population is always reliably alerted in the event of fire, environmental disasters or industrial accidents in cities and communities. Various models from the SUN Battery series are used, including the SB12-45V0, as well as the SBL40-12i, SBL75-12i(sh), SBL150-12i and SBL200-12i from the SSB Battery brand.

Our SSB Battery Grid Power series in use at akkuteam Energietechnik GmbH

If the general power grid fails, a backup power supply system – also known as an emergency power supply system (EPS) – provides power to selected consumers or system components as part of a so-called “general backup power supply”. 

akkuteam Energietechnik GmbH, a specialist provider of off-grid electrical power supplies for mobile and stationary applications, decided to replace a closed battery system in its customer's backup power supply system with our SSB Battery Grid Power series. 186 x SSB Grid Power 300-2HT M8V0 were installed in the emergency power supply system. 

In contrast to a closed battery system, our SSB Battery Grid Power series is completely maintenance-free (no need to top up with water).  The high-temperature lead-acid batteries of the Grid Power series impress with their compact design, which enables easy installation in battery cabinets and good ventilation (heat dissipation). The batteries also offer high performance and a long service life of 15 years (EUROBAT classification: >12 years, Very Long Life) under extreme ambient temperatures of 35 °C. The SSB Grid Power series has a high savings potential in terms of energy and maintenance costs as well as a reduced CO2 footprint.

Our SSB Battery SBL series at Ecker Sicherheitstechnik GmbH

To always guarantee safe exit from the building/room in the event of a general power supply failure, various battery types from our SSB Battery SBL series (7 to 200 Ah) have been installed in the emergency lighting systems of our customer depending on the respective requirements. Ecker Sicherheitstechnik GmbH's emergency lighting systems are used in public buildings such as town halls, nursing homes, schools, hospitals and many more.

The customer chose our SSB Battery SBL series because of its excellent discharge characteristics and a service life of up to 12 years in accordance with the EUROBAT directive. The compact 12 V batteries with a small capacity gradation are ideal for the requirements of safety lighting systems and can also be used very well for many other requirements and performance profiles.
